JASON KOFMAN

Jason Kofman has been a proud resident of Scarsdale for 12 years and is honored to be a candidate for Trustee. Along with a BA from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Jason brings over 30 years of business experience with world-class organizations like Goldman Sachs, Oliver Wyman, and Moody’s, where he led large teams and managed complex projects.

Now retired, Jason focuses his energy on community service. His contributions include serving on the boards of the Crane Berkley Neighborhood Association and Scarsdale Travel Softball, where he improved financial management and governance in both organizations. As a member of Scarsdale’s Conservation Advisory Council, Jason spearheaded the village’s participation in New York’s Clean Energy Communities program, securing multiple grants for sustainability initiatives.

Jason is also Board President of Second Chance Foods, a nonprofit fighting food waste and food insecurity, and an active participant in Westchester PFLAG, supporting LGBTQ+ families. His extensive volunteer work reflects his belief in building a stronger, more inclusive community. Jason and his wife, Kathleen Dunlop, are proud parents of three children: Sam, a freshman at Oberlin College, Zoe, a 10th grader, and Nate, a 9th grader both at Scarsdale High School.

With his volunteer experience, professional expertise, strategic mindset, and commitment to collaboration, Jason is ready to serve all Scarsdale residents with dedication and vision.
