SCARSDALE CITIZENS' NON-PARTISAN PARTY

David Goldschmidt has been a proud Scarsdale resident for over 22 years. Before settling in Scarsdale, he and his family lived in the north end of New Rochelle for more than a decade. A graduate of NYU and NYU School of Law, David has practiced corporate law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP for over 36 years, where he until recently served as the Global Head of the Capital Markets practice.

An active member of the community, David served as President of the Young Israel of Scarsdale and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Westchester Day School in Mamaroneck. He remains deeply involved with both institutions.

David and his wife, Ellen, have been married for 35 years and are the proud parents of three children: Daniel (married to Rachel), Josh (married to Yael), and Allison. This past year, Daniel and Rachel moved to Scarsdale with their two-year-old daughter, Olivia, who enjoys spending time at the Scarsdale Pool, Aspen Park, and the library.

David is eager to bring his professional expertise and extensive experience in civic and charitable work to further benefit the Scarsdale community.
