Upcoming Village General Election:
There will be a Village Election held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
All election Districts will be voting at the Scarsdale Public Library, 54 Olmsted Road.
Register to Vote!
Voter Registration Information
Friday, March 8: Last day to register with Westchester County Board of Elections to be eligible to vote in the Village Election.
In order to register to vote, one must:

Be a U.S. Citizen;

Be 18 years of age by the date of the election in which you want to vote;

Live at your present address at least 30 days before an election;

Not be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction;
-
Not claim the right to vote elsewhere.
Please also keep in mind that you must be a registered voter at your current address in the Village of Scarsdale to vote in the Village Election.

Absentee Ballot and Early Mail in Voting Information
Tuesday, March 12: Last day for the Village Clerk to receive applications for absentee ballots to be mailed to qualified voters.
Monday, March 18: Last day for the Village Clerk to receive personal applications for absentee ballot from an applicant or applicant’s agent.
Tuesday, March 19: Date of Village Election - Last day for absentee ballots to be received by the Village Clerk, in person and by mail. Absentee ballots can be delivered in-person at the Scarsdale Public Library any time before polls close at 9pm, or in the drop box at Village Hall any time before it closes at 5pm.
Voters may obtain an absentee ballot application online, request one by phone or mail from the Village Clerk, or attain one at the Village Clerk’s Office in Village Hall.
*NEW* Early Mail Ballots
A registered voter of the Village may vote by early mail ballot for any general or special village election in which he or she is eligible to vote, provided that such voter makes a written application with the village clerk.
